Our Story

Between Aspres and Albères.....

The history of Domaine Bisconte began with great grandfather François Jonca in the 1930s in the municipalities of Saint Génis des Fontaines and Villelongue dels Monts. The following generations, represented by Joseph and Jean-Claude Jonca, continued to develop the vineyard. Today the story continues with Pascale and Manuel (fourth generation) who have notably diversified the

terroirs in the municipalities of Banyuls dels Aspres and Brouilla. In 2016, the Domain went from winemaking in a cooperative cellar to a private cellar, becoming an independent winemaker. From the first year, the quality of the authentic wines of Domaine Bisconte has been confirmed by the attestation of various medals in recognized competitions.
